ULM Pharmacy scholar accused of drug distribution

A College of Louisiana Monroe pharmacy scholar faces fees of distributing medicine close to campus

Blair Guillory, 24, of Lake Charles, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of try and conspiracy, six counts of possession with intent to distribute, three counts of violation of the Uniform Managed Harmful Substances Act in a drug-free zone and possession with intent to distribute. Based on authorities, the Monroe Police Division hit group started receiving details about Guillory promoting prescription drugs on ULM’s campus in October. Authorities found that Guillory bought Adderall drugs to an undercover officer a number of occasions.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Guillory after an investigation. Authorities carried out a buy-and-bust operation Tuesday at Guillory’s residence. Arriving on the residence, the secret agent lured Guillory exterior and after Guillory exited her residence, she was arrested and brought into custody, in accordance with police.

Authorities discovered two orange tablet bottles of Adderall drugs and a bag of marijuana in Guillory’s Dodge Ram truck, and two extra luggage of marijuana, two digital scales and a number of other containers of sandwich luggage inside her residence. The arrest and search came about 50 yards from the ULM campus, which is a drug-free zone.

Guillory was enrolled in pharmacy faculty at ULM on the time of his arrest.
