Springfield police ask for help finding missing 11-year-old girl who may be in danger

The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who wandered away from the Great Circle facility on West Lombard Street earlier this month and may be in danger.

A news release from the department said 11-year-old Faith Lukey of 1212 W. Lombard St. It was last seen on February 3 at 6:30 pm.

Lucky, who is a ward of the state, is 49-year-old Gary R. Believed to be with Huntley Prosecutors charged Huntley with child abduction on Thursday. Court documents say Huntley has no legal custody of the girl and they are not biologically related.

Court documents said police believed Huntley was in the Springfield area this week but may have tried to leave the state with Lucky.

Lucky is described as a white girl who is 5-feet-tall, 94 pounds, with blue hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white hoodie with a gray swirl pattern, gray sweatpants and black tennis shoes. Lucky has a red mushroom tattoo on the back of his calf.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911 or the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or leave an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).

Great Circle, a behavioral health facility, released the following statement Friday evening:

“At Great Circle, nothing is more important than the health and safety of the clients in our care. When a female client in our care leaves our campus, our staff takes immediate action and calls the Springfield Police. We are working with the authorities, and although we While unable to comment further on an ongoing investigation, we greatly appreciate the work of authorities to ensure the child’s well-being and urge the public to call 911 or the Springfield Police Department if they have information on his whereabouts.”
