Lincoln, Neb. (AP) — Jim Pillen was sworn in Thursday as Nebraska’s forty first governor, becoming a member of Republicans who’ve claimed the entire state’s high govt workplaces.

Pillen was elected in November, defeating Democratic state Sen. Carol Blood in a state that had not elected a Democrat as governor since 1994.
